I picked a name for my new little dog...Her name is Sadie

Havent posted this week but will as I feel better. Got bit my a tick...well I cant be like most and pull the tick out and all is fine...that would be tooooooo simple...My leg swelled ...had a huge ring all around the bite...Leg was on fire...needless to say the doctors office couldnt open soon enough on Monday....anyone that knows me knows justme dont do doctors...lol..lol...anyhoo the infested tick they think gave me Lyme disease...he did blood workup and will see him again Thursday...with Lyme it can only be treated with antibotics...scared me half to death...thought rot had set in and my leg would fall off...lol...lol..needless to say its not pleasant...and not in the best of humor...but will answer emails ect as I feel better

Am back posting recipes...I did have Lyme...that needs to go on your check list of things you never want...nasty stuff...I am on my second batch of antibotics but much improved..With Lyme many times it goes unoticed...you have a tick then a few weeks later get what you think is flu symptoms...unless you are lucky to get the ring and swelling...that is stage 1 then stag 2 comes later on with many problems...imflamation of the heart...neurological problems...ect...My doctor stated you usually dont have the stage 2 and 3 when its treated in stage 1...so am very glad I went in..He will recheck my blood in 4 weeks to keep a close watch...all from a bug yet...lol..lol..but rested alot and played Farm Town...I am on Facebook with my family and most of us play Farm Town...I love it...so if you are playing Farm Town add me as a neighbor...and happy farming....Oh my farm is the max...

I just want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year. I am totally screwed up now and have little chance of recovery.

I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel or have them put lemon slices in my ice water without worrying about the bacteria on the lemon peel.

I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels.

I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has happened on it since it was last washed.

I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pastime while driving alone is picking ones nose (although cell phone usage may be taking the number one spot).

Eating a little snack sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of trans fats I have consumed over the years.

I can't touch any woman's purse for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public bathroom.

I MUST SEND MY SPECIAL THANKS to whoever sent me the one about poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing.

ALSO, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

THANKS TO YOU I have learned that my prayers only get answered if I forward an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.

BECAUSE OF YOUR CONCERN, I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer can buy gasoline without taking someone along to watch the car so a serial killer won't crawl in my back seat when I'm pumping gas.

I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr. Pepper since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put 'Under God' on their cans.

I no longer use Saran Wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.

AND THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW I can't boil a cup of water in the microwave anymore because it will blow up in my face... disfiguring me for life.

I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS.

I no longer go to shopping malls because someone will drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.

I no longer receive packages from UPS or Fed Ex since they are actually Al Qaeda in disguise.

I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica , India , Uganda , Singapore , and Uzbekistan .

I no longer buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus since I now have their recipe.

THANKS TO YOU I can't use anyone's toilet but mine because a big brown African spider is lurking under the seat to cause me instant death when it bites my butt.

AND THANKS TO YOUR GREAT ADVICE I can't ever pick up $5.00 dropped in the parking lot because it probably was placed there by a sex molester waiting underneath my car to grab my leg.

I can no longer drive my car because I can't buy gas from certain gas companies!

I can't do any gardening because I'm afraid I'll get bitten by the brown recluse and my hand will fall off.

Howdy Howdy to all---I know I have been slack posting more recipes...but been redoing...I gutted my middle level...OMG wont do that twice...took the walls to the concrete removed all molding, repainted all doors, windows and doorframes...painted all the ceilings and so far have repapered the livingroom, TV room, kitchen, two halls and middle bathroom...layed new carpet, hung new drapes...replaced all molding...painted stairway going upstairs and the one going downstairs...layed new carpet downstairs and redid downstairs bathroom cabinets and painted ceiling...am halfway done with the diningroom...then have the upstairs bedroom to gut...whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I got rid of the ads on the forom...now you wont see if your not signed in...cant stand the ads....so poof they gone...

I have added the Jan. calendar with slow cooker recipes...Feb will be casseroles...

Have I mentioned how much I dislike snow...if not am doing so now...lol...It has snowed here off and on for darn near 2 weeks...about 13 inches and is snowing again now...temps never above freezing so no chance of melting....so one is stuck indoors...good to be still redoing overwise walls would be closing in...now that I think it about it ...it sure didnt take long to do the walls in the diningroom...lol..lol..

Snow Snow and more snow...about 16 inches and temps still not climbing above freezing..I took the streetcar to the building supply...took me 7 hours...by the time I went down and boarded the streetcar then transfering downtown to get the train...nothing but delays due to the drifts and ice...ugggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg...high winds on top of all the mess blowing snow...along with it snowing...ya gotta love it or not...NOT...lol..lol...coming week still highs below freezing...was late calling my son and knew he would be wondering where I was...but got in and kicked my boots off ...changed wet clothes from stepping in drifts ...then got some hot cocoa and grabbed the phone...proceeded to tell him when he came that Feb compared to what I have now that would be spring weather....it snowed everyday they were here...but nothing like I have now...still didnt get half of what I need at the building supply ..can only tote so much...lol..lol...

Life is like the weather...there are sunny times...rainy times...then there are windy times when things just get blown around

What a surprise its snowing...lol..lol...starting with week three of snow and below freezing temps ...Shows below freezing temps all week so nothing will melt....but it does show highs come next Monday of 0 so thats warmer than we been...lol..lol...if it doesnt melt soon I might as well build an igloo...

With all this cold weather and snow I am on countdown to Mallorca...or the USA spelling Majorca...I will be there March 27 for 10 days and cant wait to see sunshine again...about to forget what it feels like...

Am excited my son and his wife along with Brittney and Brandon will fly here March 25th then we will all fly on the 27th to Mallorca (USA spelling Majorca), Spain and stay 9 days then come back here for a few days before they go back home.

Gab call me this afternoon..Hope in the future when I get this hair brain idea ...oh I am sick of the way a room looks you remind me of the three months it took me to redo...I will never ever gut a level again...lol..lol....countless times I sat in the floor crying because I couldnt figure something out or couldnt get something to work...but am use to doing everything on my own... so got there in the end....Cant you picture a bloke (guy) at the work place crying saying I need a tissue I am overtired or cant figure out how this works...ahhahahahahaahhahahaha....tooo funny...

Well upstairs bedroom gutted and mudded...and papered...will get the carpet when the snow melts some more...but am close to done...

Okay break over...am doing clean up ...putting wallpaper table away...ect ect...call me say noonish your time ...then we can have a proper catchup
